Found Lost Trail in Kansas City

Driving hundreds of miles for a “C” root beer is a bit much, but its reviews are good throughout the internet. Enjoying the mostly flat landscape of the Kansas plains makes a root beer fan look forward to a
good cold root beer at the end of the day.

I have bought Lost Trail Root Beer from the Root Beer Store. All the ingredients are very ordinary. It is not a gourmet root beer. Chilled
it hits the spot. You can order it from the Root Beer Store website. I
dont know if it is sold any where else on the West Coast.

No Caffeine, Low Sodium
Lost Trail Soda began with a smooth and creamy root beer, Lost Trail Root Beer. The recipe for our root beer was inspired by the original root beer formula encountered somewhere off the Santa Fe Trail by Joe Marshall, great-great grandfather of Shelly Schierman, owner of Lost Trail Soda. Our Lost Trail Root Beer was such a favorite that it wasn’t long before other Lost Trail soda flavors “hit the trail”. The secret to keeping the effervescent gusto of Lost Trail Soda is to use a “small batch” process. This microbrewed, draft style method ensures an old fashioned taste and the high quality found in Lost Trail Soda. You may have already tried our Lost Trail Soda and know what we’re talking about. But, if you’ve never enjoyed the old fashioned flavorful qualities of these beverages… (Lost Trail Soda Website)

The taste of Lost Trails Root Beer is extreme sweetness, wintergreen, and
sodium. There are comparisons of Lost Trails with Teddy’s Root Beer.
When you pop open the cap you smell mainly sugar and wintergreen. The foam is pretty light. Its makes a good root beer float and is great on any hot Summer day.
